Published UCAT minimum scores for 2027 entry

Only a handful of schools publish a 2027 UCAT minimum. A minimum is the floor for being considered. It is not the score that gets an interview, which is usually higher.

How to use this list

  1. Read the minimum as a floor: below it the application is not considered.
  2. Look at the past line where one exists. Sheffield's 2027 minimum is 1,800, and its ranking line for 2026 entry was 2,120. They come from different years, but the gap shows a floor is not the interview line.
  3. Check whether the minimum differs for international applicants.
  4. Decile floors (for example the fourth decile) move with the final 2026 decile table.

Where 2026 scores sit so far

On the preliminary 2026 table (20,794 tests to 13 September 2026), the 10th percentile cut point was 1,630, the middle 1,980 and the 90th 2,300. These will move when the final table is published. Place your own total.

Questions students ask

If I meet the minimum, will I get an interview?

Not necessarily. Schools with a minimum still rank or score applicants above it and invite as many as they have places for.

What does a decile floor mean in scores?

It is a position in the year's results, so the score it matches changes every year. Check the school's own definition, then read it against the final 2026 decile table, not the preliminary one.
