How to use this list

  1. Check the academic minimum on each school's page first. Missing it ends the application whatever your UCAT.
  2. Compare your total with the school's past line, if it publishes one. A past line is last year's result, not a promise.
  3. Read the SJT column. Some of these schools do not consider Band 4.
  4. Mix these with schools that score UCAT alongside grades, so one test does not decide all four choices.

Where 2026 scores sit so far

On the preliminary 2026 table (20,794 tests to 13 September 2026), the 10th percentile cut point was 1,630, the middle 1,980 and the 90th 2,300. These will move when the final table is published. Place your own total.

Questions students ask

Is a high UCAT enough at these schools?

No. You must still meet the academic requirements, and offers depend on the interview and, at some schools, other scores. For most applicants UCAT decides who is invited, but some schools run contextual routes with their own rules, such as Anglia Ruskin's interview route for applicants who had free school meals or have been in care.

Why does the interview line change every year?

It is set by how many people apply with which scores, and how many interview places the school has. That is why a past line is labelled with its year.
