At these schools UCAT becomes points or a percentage that is added to your academic score, at least for home applicants. Strong GCSEs or A-levels can carry a middling UCAT further here than at schools that rank on UCAT alone.

How to use this list

  1. Find the weighting in the line for each school. Where the school publishes the split (for example 50:50), you can see how much UCAT moves your total.
  2. Check whether the academic part uses GCSEs, predicted A-levels or both. That decides whether your grades help you.
  3. Check the line for your fee group. Aston, for example, ranks overseas applicants on UCAT alone from 2027 entry.
  4. Look for a UCAT floor. Some points schools still exclude low deciles or SJT Band 4.
  5. Open the school's own page for the exact points table before you rely on it.

Where 2026 scores sit so far

On the preliminary 2026 table (20,794 tests to 13 September 2026), the 10th percentile cut point was 1,630, the middle 1,980 and the 90th 2,300. These will move when the final table is published. Place your own total.

How does a UCAT score turn into points?

Each school sets its own table. Some award points by decile, some by section score, some normalise the total. The line for each school says what it publishes, and its page links to the table.

Do these schools publish a cut-off?

Usually not a single UCAT cut-off, because UCAT is only part of the score. Any published floor is shown in the minimum column.
