UCAT 2026 statistics: preliminary deciles, and what the final table changes
Where 2026 scores sit so far, what the numbers can and cannot tell you, and how they compare with 2025 and 2024. Every figure is the consortium's own.
Preliminary, not final. These 2026 figures cover 20,794 tests up to 13 September 2026. The consortium expected about 22,000 more candidates and says to treat them “with significant caution”. The final table was not out when we checked on 27 September 2026.

Section scores run from 300 to 900. SJT shares are rounded by the consortium and may not add to 100%. The 2026 page does not yet publish section deciles; the percentile calculator uses the 2025 final section deciles.
Three things this page keeps apart
- Preliminary and final. Preliminary figures cover only the tests taken so far. Final figures cover the whole testing cycle, so they are the ones to read a school's decile rule against.
- Past cut-offs and promises. A school's past interview line came from the year it was set. It is not a 2027 threshold; see how each school uses UCAT.
- UK and ANZ cohorts. Everything here is UCAT UK. UCAT ANZ publishes its own statistics, and its percentiles are not read against these deciles.

What are the UCAT 2026 deciles?
Preliminary UCAT UK 2026 total-score cut points, from 20,794 tests to 13 September 2026: 10th 1,630, 20th 1,750, 30th 1,840, 40th 1,910, 50th 1,980, 60th 2,040, 70th 2,110, 80th 2,190, 90th 2,300.
Are the 2026 UCAT final results out?
Not when we last checked, on 27 September 2026. The UCAT Consortium says final mean scores, deciles and percentiles "will be published shortly after testing ends".
Will the final deciles be lower than the preliminary ones?
Nobody can say in advance. In 2025 the preliminary mean was 1,939 and the final mean 1,891, 48 points lower. That is one year, so we do not adjust the 2026 figures by it.
Can I compare my 2026 score with a 2024 score?
Not directly. 2024 totals included Abstract Reasoning and ran to 3,600. From 2025 the total runs to 2,700. Compare percentiles within each year instead.
Do these deciles apply to UCAT ANZ?
No. These are UCAT UK candidates only. UCAT ANZ publishes its own 2026 statistics and percentile look-up for its own cohort.
