Questions this page answers

Can UCAT ANZ be used for UK medical schools?

Yes. UCAT ANZ 2026 results are valid for UK entry in 2027, or deferred entry in 2028, if you complete the UCAT ANZ Results Collection form on the UCAT UK website by 22 October 2026.

Can UCAT UK be used for Australia or New Zealand?

No. UCAT ANZ says Australian and New Zealand universities only accept UCAT ANZ results.

Can I sit both UCAT UK and UCAT ANZ in the same year?

No. UCAT ANZ treats sitting UCAT ANZ 2026 and UCAT UK 2026 as candidate misconduct, and all results may be cancelled. If you apply to both regions for 2027 entry, UCAT ANZ says to sit UCAT ANZ 2026.

How is a UCAT ANZ SJT score converted for UK universities?

UK universities receive a band. For 2026, UCAT UK converts a UCAT ANZ SJT scaled score of 658 to 900 to Band 1, 596 to 657 to Band 2, 502 to 595 to Band 3 and 300 to 501 to Band 4.
