Edinburgh publishes a 1,850 minimum and scores UCAT with grades. St Andrews ranks on UCAT after an academic check. Glasgow sets a UCAT threshold for interview each year by applicant group, Aberdeen considers UCAT without publishing a weighting, and Dundee publishes no fixed cut-off.

  1. Check which applicant group you are in. Scottish schools often publish separate lines for Scottish, rest-of-UK and international applicants.
  2. Read past lines with their scale. Edinburgh's newest published line is on the old 3,600 scale; Glasgow's 2026 lines are on the 2,700 scale.
  3. Open each school's own page for the weighting where the line says none is published.

Where 2026 scores sit so far

On the preliminary 2026 table (20,794 tests to 13 September 2026), the 10th percentile cut point was 1,630, the middle 1,980 and the 90th 2,300. These will move when the final table is published. Place your own total.

Are Scottish past lines comparable with 2026 scores?

Not directly when they are on the old 3,600 scale, which included Abstract Reasoning. From 2025 UCAT is scored out of 2,700.
