Is the UCAT ANZ the same as the UCAT UK?
The questions, subtests and timings are the same: Verbal Reasoning 44 questions in 22 minutes, Decision Making 35 in 37, Quantitative Reasoning 36 in 26 and Situational Judgement 69 in 26. The dates, fees, universities and percentiles differ, and the UCAT ANZ reports Situational Judgement as a scaled score from 300 to 900 rather than a band.
When is the UCAT ANZ 2027?
The UCAT ANZ Consortium has not published the 2027 dates yet. In 2026, booking opened on 3 March, closed on 15 May and testing ran 1 July to 5 August 2026.
How much does the UCAT ANZ cost?
In 2026 the test cost A$335 in Australia or New Zealand, A$405 overseas, and A$240 with an Australian Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. Late bookings cost A$85 or A$185 more.
What is a good UCAT ANZ score?
In 2026 the median total was 1,950 and the top 10% scored 2,340 or more. UNSW asks for at least the 50th percentile for general entry, and Monash's lowest December interview score for Victorian applicants entering in 2026 was at the 94th percentile.
Can I use a UCAT ANZ result for UK medicine?
Yes, for 2027 entry, if you complete the UCAT ANZ results collection form on the UCAT UK website by 22 October 2026. You cannot sit both tests in the same year.
