How we work this out

What it does

Enter your A-levels and GCSEs to see, school by school, which published rules you meet for 2027 entry.

Standard five-year dentistry at 16 UK universities (17 courses, with King's Enhanced Support Dentistry) for 2027 entry, for A-level and GCSE applicants. Graduate-entry and foundation routes are not included.

Method

  1. Each school's A-level and GCSE rules come from its own 2027 dentistry pages, read on 4 and 5 October 2026 and checked by an independent review.
  2. Each rule is a separate clause: the grade pattern, required subjects, GCSE English and Maths, the science rule and GCSE counts.
  3. Grades are compared best first. Required subjects must be met by different A-levels.
  4. A rule your answers cannot settle is shown as a check, never as a pass or a fail.
