When do you get your UCAT results?

Before you leave the test centre: staff hand you a printed score report. It appears in your UCAT account about 24 hours later. Your universities receive it in early November, without you sending anything.

What the report shows

  • A score from 300 to 900 for Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning.
  • Your total, out of 2,700.
  • A Band from 1 to 4 for Situational Judgement, kept separate from the total.

What to do with it

You know your score before the UCAS deadline, so use it to choose where to apply. Schools that rank on UCAT reward a high score; schools that score it with grades forgive a lower one.
