UCAT test went wrong? Report it the same day

Tell the test centre staff while you are still there and ask for an incident case number. Request an investigation within a day of your test; requests more than 5 days later are not accepted. UCAT never changes a score because of an incident.

What can happen

  • No action.
  • Your case goes to the UCAT Consortium, which can add a short note to your result for universities.
  • A free retest. Your first result is then void and only the retest counts, even if it is lower.

Feeling ill is different

Turning up means you declare yourself fit to test. If you are unwell beforehand, move the test while you still can, up to 24 hours before.

The deadlines: reschedule or cancel the UCAT
