UCAT 2027 dates and registration: which year do you mean?
For 2027 university entry, check the UCAT requirements for the 2026 application cycle. If you mean sitting UCAT in 2027, the cited pages do not yet give a full 2027 testing timetable. UCAT says 2027 registration and booking instructions will be published in March 2027; that is not a booking-opening date.
Label both years on your plan
UCL's 2027-entry MBBS page requires UCAT in the application year. Use that distinction when reading search results: '2027 entry' and '2027 test' are not interchangeable. Deferred entry has its own course rules; confirm them directly.

Do not book from a search-result label
Worked example Read an admissions notice
Original teaching example. A fictional course says: 'For September 2027 entry, applicants must sit the required admissions test during the 2026 application cycle.' A student plans to wait for a summer 2027 test. Does that plan meet the stated rule?
Why this works: No. The notice requires testing in 2026 for that entry cycle. The student should check the actual course and test-provider instructions immediately, rather than assume a later test can be substituted.
Why the tempting route fails: Matching the test year to the entry year ignores the explicit application-cycle requirement. The fictional notice does not authorise late booking or exceptions.
What you can do before new dates appear
- Record your intended entry year beside the course code.
- Keep any unconfirmed test date labelled provisional.
- Check the official booking, ID and access-arrangement guidance when your cycle opens.
- Begin with question tutorials and a small practice set rather than building a calendar around guessed deadlines.
